Statement of Beliefs or Philosophy on Early Childhood Education

I believe that when teaching children you have to be a good role model. It does take patience while working with kids, but it’s mostly about understanding the children. I believe that every teacher should know each and every child they have in their classroom. Teachers should know where their children are at developmentally and should always work around the children’s development schedule. I believe that teachers should help children, but not only children; help parents as well. Parent's life's are busy and we as teachers are here to help parent's out by giving their children a wonderful learning experience. I also believe we shouldn’t punish a child without telling them what they did wrong. Always use redirection to guide these children the right way. We as teachers are helping raise the next generation of children.
